" PATRIOTS ? " GET YOUR MONEY BACK FROM SWISS BANKS !
While the entire world is facing financial turmoil, it is important that black money stashed away by prominent indians e.g. politicians, big corporates and bureacrats should come back to india to get relief from liquidity crisis facing our country. Most of the black money is stashed away in the Swiss banks.
It is said, that this money is not in millions but trillions, which has been created by corrupt indians and lying dead in swiss bank accounts.At this moment, we need not discuss the source of the money lying there because it will start another debate. Today India needs cash and liquidity to get over financial crunch. If there is a miniscule of patriotism left in these indians ( which i doubt ), they should get that money back to ride over financial crunch facing the country today. The Swiss banking laws keep these accounts secret, so if at all the indian investigating agencies try to probe into it, is a futile activity. Who will order a probe otherwise too? Hire a thief to catch a thief ! Not possible.
The indian swiss account holders should hence come forward voluntarily with this illegal money, keeping in mind their personal interest too. If country collapases financially, their future means to earn black money are also stopped. If there is no money left in the system, black or white, does not make any sense. The window to earn constant black money also dries up, with financial collapse.
It is estimated that approx. 1500 billion dollars are lying in Swiss banks, owned by indians, which means 675 thousand crore ( at the rate of Rs. 45/- p. dollar ), calculated. It is mind-boggling. In its report, the Swiss Banking Association has put 5 countries at the top, who have put their black money in their banks. People from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri lankans. As per report, India tops the list with 1456 billion dollars. Russia 470 billion, UK 390 billion, Ukraine 100 billion and China, poorest of them all, only 96 billion dollars is stashed away in safe havens ( banks ) in Switzerland. If you combine 1500 billion dollars of indian black money lying in Swiss banks, then 45 crore indians will get Rs. one lakh each.
According to Mr. Kuldip Nayyar, an eminent personality, journalist and ex-MP claims to have met one of the leading swiss bank manager in London, while he was ambassador to UK. As per the swiss bank manager, the money of indians lying in swiss banks is so much that 10, Five Year Plans of India can run on that money. That means, that indian govt. does not need taxpayers money for another 50 years.. I would like to enlighten you further, this incident relates to times, when India was facing acute foreign exchange crunch and Indian govt. was forced to put its gold as guarantee to borrow money, from Bank Of England to meet its foreign exchange needs.
How to coax these politicians, bureacrats and big houses to bring back that much desired money, back to india ?
Threatening them, would not work because nobody knows or has a clue about it, except Swiss banks. It is time for the dynamic Finance Minister to act, if he wishes to. If Finance Minister declares that most of the money, these indians can keep with them, the majority of the money can come back into the indian financial system. It is time to declare VDS ( voluntary disclosure scheme ). Finance Minister can further give a boost to this cause that no questions will be asked about the source of that money, which comes back to India.
If one third of that money is given to the govt and two third they are allowed to keep with them, these " Patriots " will listen to the call of their" Motherland " and will also be left off cheaply without any questions asked. Obviously, all the money left with these patriots will become white too.

I am glad you have brought about this topic to everyones knowledge.. I am shocked to read that so much of our countrys money is lying in swiss banks & if this kind of money comes back to india we will be so much more rich. indian govt. should take some action & definately plan something so that the money comes back

It is often said, that India is a rich country, inhabited by poor. This is an old saying, which means, that has so much resources, but does'nt have the will and polity to exploit it. This old saying is true today, in a different context. Indians are rich in Switzerland, but poor in India. If the govt. wants to get that money back, it can easily do so ! But as i said, a thief cant dare to catch a thief. What an irony ?
Great revelation, although I had heard Swiss bank accounts of Indians existed since Nehruji's times, I did not know the figures could be this large! I intend to send E-mail to the President, PM, FM, DM, Sonia Gandhi & LK Advani, highlighting points brought about by Mr. Vaneet Kundra and appeal to them for a 50% transfer of black money to Govt Coffers and let the involved have the other 50% as white, without initiating any probe on its sources by further spending huge amounts to do so. I need valuable concurrance of the readers on this blog to do so, or if any body else thinks of a better suggestion in convincing the bigger thugs that matter, he may please sggest accordingly. But we must do something on these lines. I solicit a positive, purposeful response with in a week's time for further action. Warm Regards

Ministers in the central govt. leading politicians in the ruing party and in opposition, Chief Ministers of states, big coroprate houses, top bureacrats, who does'nt have a swiss account ? We are living in a " DEAF " country. You may write to anyone. Each one of them is aware of it. Nobody is going to listen. Yes, if at all you want to write to FBI, you are most welcome. But America also needs permission from the indian govt. Its wasting your valuable time. Anyone of us can land up in a soup. Yes, you can write to Kuldip Nayyar who may be knowing, who all these people are ?
I have been an avid reader of your blog. But i put my comments rarely. It is amazing and you said mind-boggling. Our requests to the govt. go unheaded and probably go in a trash. So much money in swiss banks, is unthinkable.
Perhaps, it would be very appropriate to send a message to the globe saying that Switzerland is going to be destroyed in toto, in a highly un-ambiguous and fully convincing manner, so that all the hoarders will scramble to get their loot out as fast as possible, and India shall be benifited the most. But, how can it be done??? Any suggestions?????

My only hope is, you people, as all of us are also corrupt in some way or the other, as the system we live in has forced us to become corrupt, if we want to survive. To be honest, this blog was started to awaken the people who were in semi-sleeping mode or were sleeping or were in isolation of the things happening around them. As i feel today, from inputs, i have recd. so far, people whom i am banking upon, the Ex-servicemen, except you, are not fortcoming, to the extent, that even my emails sent to ex-servicemen association, lately, are being bounced back. This is the apathy. To tell you in one line, please bring together all ex-servicemen on one common platform, if you want to see the results. They have a perfect platform to create an action, in whatever manner, they find fit, to get rid of these corrupt politicians and bureacrats. It's just short of bringing some kind of revolution, in impotent country called India. If you check my emails, sent, they are mostly sent to ex-servicemen. We are there to join you and help you, in whatever manner you like. We civilians, as i wrote in my email, are a scattered lot, with no common thread or platform. Just provide the much needed spark, and see how many people come forward on their own ? The question is, who should bell the cat ? It's you, you and only you, who have character and discipline. Can i request the same to employed defence personal ? You are in a better position to tell me. My daughter's marriage is coming near and most of my funds are blocked in mutual funds, which are today 60% down, due to the crash in the stock market. But i am not concerned about that as much i am, to the prevailing political situation. If an ordinary citizen like me has the anger, just imagine the " anguish " the defence people must be having, but they need to be brought out from their sleeping mode.
