SPEECH OF BRYAN DYSON ( CEO OF COCA COLA )

"Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them - work, family, health, Friends and spirit and you're keeping all of these in the Air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four Balls - Family, Health, Friends and Spirit - are made of glass. If you drop one of these; they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for it.

Hmmm... a good post telling the importance of work, friends and family. He's right, they're glass balls.

But how work is a rubber wall? If I fight with my boss and quit my job, then will he get me back? Never!

Dear saurabh,

If one leaves his job ( work ), he goes to some other company to work. So " work " is really a rubber wall. You cant just sit idle, you find a work or work finds you whereas friends & family, if you ignore, they will leave you, because they are a glass balls. They will break.

Dear Deepak,

Sometimes you and the readers tend to get bored after reading heavy articles on politics. So these short breathers are required as they refresh your minds.

How true! In the fast paced world that we live in,the stress that we carry is many times unleashed on our family whom we take for granted....we must value and cherish relationships.

Dear Ms Walia,

Life has become full of stress and we tend to forget our relationships, in this concrete jungle of materialism. I would love to go back to my childhood, when i was free to do and say anything, i wanted to. But that is not possible. I wish, there could be some time machine, which could take to my childhood.

Very good thoughts by Bryan Dyson! What is, however, important is that all balls should be kept in the air all the time, as otherwise you are not playing the life's game. If you keep the work ball dormant for too long it may lose its capacity to bounce back! The The glass ball of friendship may be allowed to fall at times to get a new one to vet out bad friends from good ones. Definitely high caution needs to be excercised for the other glass balls to be kept in the air.

breathers are definately important so pls keep them up...its a very good post...i agree that family & freinds are like glass balls...they are precious...so we should cherish & value these relationships. They help us out of the stressful situations in life, they motivate us to go on...
